It's pronounced "zhahn frahn-swah lack-rwa," but JF works just fine.
I'm a product designer and developer focused on outdoor, cycling, carry, EDC, and technical softgoods. I design products with manufacturing in mind, staying close to the process from early concepts through prototypes, testing, and production.
My approach is to use the right tool for the question at hand. Sometimes that means building a prototype, sometimes it means refining a CAD model, reviewing a tech pack, running a test, or working directly with a factory partner. The goal is always the same: create products that are thoughtful, functional, and built to perform.
I've been working in the outdoor industry since 2008, with a focus on product design and development since 2019. Based in North Vancouver, BC, where the gear I design gets used.
